TO APPROVE THE MARCH 2008 TREASURER’S REPORT

TO APPROVE A SCRAPBOOKING FUNDRAISER ON MAY 3, 2008 TO BE HELD AT IMMANUEL WITH PROCEEDS GOING TO THE HEIFER PROJECT.  THE FUNDRAISER IS BEING COORDINATED BY DENISE PROPER.

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.

TO APPROVE  A DRAMA TEAM DINNER THEATER ON MAY 16-17, 2008 TO BE HELD AT IMMANUEL WITH PROCEEDS GOING TO THE HEIFER PROJECT.  THE FUNDRAISER IS BEING COORDINATED BY JANE GOEBEL.

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.

Old Business:

Natural Church Development:  The team has met twice.  They have developed a list of people to participate in the survey.  Surveys should be completed by Sunday, April 20, 2008.

 

New Business:

TO APPROVE MIKE PITCHFORD AS THE PROJECT MANAGER FOR THE PARSONAGE DEMOLITION PROJECT.

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.

  

MOTION by: John Kingsley  SECONDED by Tom Mattson:                   

TO APPROVE A CONGREGATIONAL YARD SALE ON JUNE 21, 2008 TO BE HELD ON THE PARSONAGE GROUNDS WITH PROCEEDS GOING TO DEFRAY THE COST OF PARSONAGE DEMOLITION – A NON-BUDGETED EVENT.  LISA BAPTISTA WILL COORDINATE THE EVENT.

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.

 

MOTION by: Dan Landry  SECONDED by Patsy Galvin:                   

TO APPROVE A GOSPEL CONCERT IN THE IMMANUEL SANCTUARY ON AUGUST 24, 2008 AT 4 P.M.  RAYMOND HARRIS WILL BE SPONSORING THE EVENT, SELLING TICKETS AND PROVIDING HIS OWN INSURANCE.  RAYMOND WILL DONATE HALF THE PROCEEDS TO THE IMMANUEL CHILDREN’S CHOIR.  APPROVAL IS CONDITIONAL ON COUNCIL'S REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF THE MARKETING FLYER PRIOR TO THE EVENT.

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.
