Council
received an email from Lisa Baptista requesting permission to raise
additional money for the parsonage demolition project with a garage
sale. Council discussed that with the shift of funds from the Future
Ministerial Staff Fund to the Parsonage Demolition Project, the project
was fully funded. Council decided that the Major Maintenance line item
would be an appropriate line item to receive the money from this
fundraiser.

TO APPROVE A SECOND GARAGE
SALE AT THE PARSONAGE SITE WITH DATES TO BE DETERMINED IN SEPTEMBER OR
OCTOBER WITH PROCEEDS GOING TO THE MAJOR MAINTENANCE LINE ITEM. LISA
BAPTISTA WILL COORDINATE.
UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.
Council
received a written request from Elizabeth Ayoub requesting approval to
send a member to the NCC Eco-Justice Program conference October 9-11,
2008 in Minnesota. Council referred this request to the Serving Team
for action.

July – Plan Fall clean-up,
Recruit Sunday School Teachers

August – VBS, organize
first communion & confirmation classes, begin prep for annual budget,
plans for Sunday School Rally Day, recruit Sunday School teachers,
plan fall clean up, nominating committee seeks to fill vacant Council
positions.
