COMBINATION

SUNDAY SCHOOL AND SERVICE PROJECTS

One leg of SNL is serving our Lord. All Christians are called to serve. In catechism we both learn how the Church serves and do service projects.

This year we are going to make Sunday School the core of our SNL service time. The 9:15 hour would be spent preparing and doing. This will be an experiment. Let’s see how it goes.

Suggested projects to plan and implement include:

Planning and teaching Bible lessons to the younger children.

(Skits, puppet show, songs, projects, etc.)

Preparing desserts for Community Soup Night and serving at it.
Preparing foods for Coffee Hour and serving at it.
Doing Fall Projects for our homebound members.
Prepare treats for our homebound members and visit them.
Prepare a church service for a nursing home and lead it.
Plan a party for residents of a Nursing Home.
Plan a Catechism-led Church Service and lead it.

These are just some ideas to get started.
